After the end of life date, no security updates are released for Drupal 7 from the official security team. Sites still running Drupal 7 become increasingly vulnerable over time and should migrate to a current version as soon as possible.
Commercial extended support is available from vendors like Tag1 Consulting for organisations that cannot migrate immediately. However, these arrangements are expensive and should be viewed as a temporary measure while planning a proper migration. If you are still on Drupal 7 in 2026, migration planning should be your top priority. The longer you wait, the harder and more expensive it becomes.
