Drupal has excellent multilingual support built in through four core modules. Enable Language, Content Translation, Interface Translation, and Configuration Translation together.
First, add the languages you need under Configuration, then Languages. Then configure which content types, fields, and configuration items should be translatable. Drupal creates translated versions of each, which editors can manage through the admin interface.
The interface itself translates automatically using community provided translations downloaded from localize.drupal.org. For content, editors create translations manually or use the Translation Management Tool module for more advanced workflows. Drupal’s multilingual support is one of its greatest strengths and a major reason it is chosen for international organisations. Setting it up properly requires some planning, but once configured, managing multiple languages becomes straightforward.
